Well I have visited this site a few times to check out some friends work and after a few days of inspiration working with a new band, at 3:00am I decided it was time to join up. I uploaded some pretty average lyrics and then a piece of work that I have been playing with for a few weeks and now checking out some peoples pages

So what's my story? Well my name is Steve and I work as an IT Support Officer for now. I love art, my main choice is writing which I have been doing since I was around 15 when I started in my first band. Five years later and two bands before my current one now, I've written a number of songs, and played a number of high profile gigs out here in Australia. My new band is taking a more serious approach and that has inspired me to take my art more seriously. Hopefully we get somewhere with it as I love my music, without it I seriously would have no purpose in life

I also dabble in photography (which I shall upload in the next week or so) and find it an intriguing way to express yourself, even without having a person in a shot. Photography is one of the most expressive works of art in my opinion, and some truly amazing things have been caught on camera over many years by millions of people. I remember when I was younger my mother saying that if the house was ever on fire, the first thing she would grab would be the photos. I never really thought that was a wise decision at 10 years of age, but as I have grown older I have grown to appreciate how special photos really are

So when I'm not playing with my band or taking some snap shots around town I'm usually hanging out with my friends, or playing some sort of game just for fun. I've just recently turned vegeterian, which seems to really shock most of my friends (I don't understand why). The vocalist/pianist in my new band is a vegeterian and after spending a couple of days with him trying out some of his food I thought "Why not, food is great, lets give it a go". Been a week now and I feel healthier than ever, losing weight (could go to lose a few kilos) and don't miss meat at all

Well it's 3:50am now, guess I better get some sleep. Thanks for listening guys. I'm on holidays from work for two weeks, so at least I get to sleep in
